Iron Maiden are back on the live circuit. The NWOBHM icons hadn't played a show since the pre-pandemic times of 2019, and last night they kicked off their worldwide tour in support of last year's Senjutsu LP with a show in Zagreb, Croatia, marking their first show in nearly three years.
As was expected, the setlist included the debut of numerous Senjutsu tracks — "Stratego," "The Writing on the Wall" and "Senjutsu" — as well as plenty of classic Maiden bangers from all throughout their storied career.
And of course, with a new album to promote comes a new version of Eddie, who donned the Samurai gear pictured on Senjutsu's artwork and even engaged in a battle with frontman Bruce Dickinson.
