For the past few months, we've been keeping tabs on Sinsaenum, the extreme-metal supergroup featuring former Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison and Dragonforce bassist Frédéric Leclercq. Today (July 27th), they've released a new song titled "Nuit Noire," or "black night" in English, along with its fiery music video. Like the numbers previously released from their forthcoming LP Repulsion For Humanity (out August 10th), the song is a furious take on death metal, though this one takes the mix in a bit of a different direction, featuring a demonic near–spoken-word opening segment. In the accompanying visual, neon triangles and flames border the band as the song continues, surging to maddening solos that are simultaneously technical and strangely distorted. The song ends in a splitting scream: "You are going to die." Thanks for the heads-up, guys.
