See Joey Jordison Lead Argentinian Fans in Impromptu Performance of Slipknot's "(sic)"

Former Slipknot drummer jammed on acoustic guitar outside hotel

Joey Jordison's new hard-rock band Vimic played Argentina's Monsters of Rock festival over the weekend. While he was in town, the ex-Slipknot drummer/songwriter linked up with a throng of eager maggots who'd gathered outside his hotel to lead them in an impromptu acoustic performance of "(sic)," off Slipknot's self-titled album. "If I mess up, I'm only doing this out of appreciation for all of you for being a part of my life, and [being] great fans — some of the best in the world," Jordison said humbly, before banging out the song's distinctive riff. Check out footage of the spontaneous sing-along above.

Slipknot parted ways with Jordison, a co-founding member of the band, in 2013, citing "personal reasons." Last year, the drummer revealed that he'd split after developing transverse myelitis: a painful, inflammatory nerve condition that limited his playing abilities.
