Metal God said the newly-reformed titans were "bangin'" live

Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford has one word to describe the newly-reformed iteration of Pantera: bangin.' The Metal God took to Instagram to share footage of himself rocking out to the groove-metal titans while they were blazing through "5 Minutes Alone" in front of a rambunctious crowd in São Paulo, Brazil.

The December 15th gig marked Pantera's third in a row without founding bassist Rex Brown, who had exited the band's first tour in 22 years after catching COVID and flying home to the States the week earlier. Cattle Decapitation bassist Derek Engemann was filling in for Brown on the night Halford saw Pantera, but even with a core member down, the metal pioneer was still mighty impressed by what he witnessed during their show.

See Halford's supportive, heart-warming footage below, which he indeed captioned with the word "bangin.'"
