Knocked Loose's breakdown-stuffed hardcore truly feels like getting hit by a storm of heaviness, so it's only fitting they would fully live in that motif for their newest video for "The Rain," off their 2016 record, Laugh Tracks. The clip features a simple concept — the band playing their instruments hard in an abandoned house while a storm rages behind them. The video continues, throwing in mosh parts while the world seems to close around the group in a broken structure. Eventually, the water hits a true tipping point, flooding the house and getting up to the band's collective chest level. But despite the wreckage and chaos swirling around them, the musicians persevere through the chaos, and continue to play, setting the video up as a huge metaphor for Knocked Loose's own relentless forward march.
