Korn and Evanescence are touring together later this summer, and the two alt-metal titans go a long way back. To celebrate their decade-and-a-half of friendship with Amy Lee and Co., the Bakersfield band posted a short documentary on Instagram that features frontman Jonathan Davis talking about being blown away the first time he heard Evanescence's cover of his own song, "Thoughtless." Then, it flashes to guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer singing the praises of Lee's duet with Davis during their MTV Unplugged session.
In fact, he mentions that the two vocalists didn't even rehearse their version of "Freak on a Leash" together beforehand, which is amazing considering how in-sync their harmonies were.
