See Korn Throw Down in New "Worst Is on Its Way" Video

Nu-metal godfathers go biomechanical in latest 'Requiem' clip

For many fans, the clear winner on Korn's latest album, 2022's Requiem, was the closing cut, "Worst Is on Its Way." Arguably the heaviest song on the LP, the bruising standout is also the lone track to see Jonathan Davis breaking out into his signature scatting vocals — and doing so to fine, climactic effect. Today (April 21st), the Requiem highlight finally got its music video, a stark, black-and-white visual directed by Craig Bernard and Culley Bunker that intercuts live footage of the group throwing down on a minimalist soundstage with CG clips of the band members getting biomechanical avatars. The video also notably includes bassist Roberto "Ra" Díaz, of Suicidal Tendencies, who has been playing with Korn during founding member Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu's ongoing hiatus. Watch above.

"That is the divine comedy of life," Davis told us of "Worst Is on Its Way" in our Spring 2022 cover story. "Ups and downs. I'm not going to be in denial of that. I know I'm going to be hurting again, but I hope that I have family and loved ones around who can help me get through it and I'll be all right. I won't let it win."
