See Lamb of God's Randy Blythe Perform With Industrial Supergroup Pigface

Singer to join Martin Atkin and Co. for entirety of band's first tour in 14 years

Rivetheads everywhere were thrilled back in August when it was announced that beloved industrial supergroup Pigface would be heading out on their first full-fledged tour in 14 years, and more metal-leaning fans were intrigued by the news that Lamb of God screamer Randy Blythe would be jumping in as one of the featured performers on the first five shows. Having enjoyed himself thoroughly thus far, Blythe has since extended his more-than-welcome stay and will ride alone for the remaining dates of the run, and fan-filmed footage take from the crew's recent Toronto stop shows he's settling in nicely among the horde of eclectic talents.

The fan-shot video above shows Blythe crouched down in the choral backdrop for "Chickasaw" along the musicians making up the band's current lineup, including main man Martin Atkins as well as Lesley Rankine (on lead here), Curse Mackey, En Esch, Bobdog Catlin and Greta Brinkman. The stage may be packed and the action slightly chaotic, but the song still moves fluidly as the chill but driving backbeat chugs along.

The clip below sees En Esch take on lead vocals to deliver a propulsive rendition of KMFDM classic "Godlike" (on which Esch originally performed). Mackey joins him at the front of the stage while Blythe stays busy on percussion in the back, assisting a pair of live drummers in providing a heavy-hitting undercurrent to the song.

Next up for the group is a headlining spot at New York City venue Le Poisson Rouge tonight, November 19th. See below for the full list of remaining dates.
