See Limp Bizkit's Wes Borland Get Drenched by Flooded Ceiling During Live Show

Guitarist's pedalboard was destroyed when venue ceiling collapsed under weight of heavy rainfall

During a particularly rainy show day on August 12th at Boomtown Fair festival in Winchester, England, Limp Bizkit's Wes Borland found himself standing in an unlucky spot. Unbeknownst to Borland, an accumulation of rainwater was pooling above his head, which eventually burst through the stage ceiling — mid-set — drenching his pedalboard with what he describes as "a Jacuzzi amount of water."

Fan footage shows the incident occurring right before the band launches into, ironically, their 1999 hit "Break Stuff." The camera pans out into the crowd merging into a spirited mosh pit in spite of the compromised sound. A frustrated Borland can be seen knocking over equipment as he exits the stage at the end of the shortened set.

Borland took to Instagram to show the destructive aftermath, but updated followers shortly thereafter with a selfie in full stage makeup captioned: "We fixed my pedalboard today. 2 days of letting everything dry out and massive rewiring and problem solving with (guitar tech) @kadaver13 who is my hero right now. My looper pedal is gone and half of my power (we're using batteries tonight) but my rig is on the way to recovery."
