See Lizard People Take Over in 3TEETH's Wild New "PRESIDENT X" Video

Politicians reveal their true nature in industrial-metal firebrands' latest visual

Bloodthirsty L.A. industrial-metal quintet 3TEETH are pretty much undefeated when it comes to delivering memorable visuals for their singles, and that streak continues unabated with this video for "PRESIDENT X." the scene is a scarlet-bathed stump speech, starring mustachioed lead singer Alexis Mincolla, in neo-fascist garb, greeting his constituents. Eventually he loses his skin to reveal that the president is actually a lizard-man, just as we always expected. According to Mincolla, there is real substance to the pomp and circumstance, and "PRESIDENT X" might be the band's most outwardly political song to date.

"As the administration pendulum swings back and forth in our bi-partisan shit show, you basically get a new leader who comes in with the goal of undoing what the last guy did, continuing this cycle of futility," the singer writes of the video. "It's like one of those TV shows that just keeps going on season after season, walking you in circles by throwing in new hackneyed characters and the same trite notions of conflict but in reality the story has no arc and no resolution and by the time the season finale comes, oh and it will come, you're going to look back on it go holy fuck I want my money back... and no I'm not talking metaphorical money, I'm talking about your actual tax dollars that funded a hot trash show."

"President X" will appear on 3TEETH's forthcoming album, Metawar, due out July 5th.
