Ohio sludge rockers to tour with COC and Crowbar this summer

Sludgy yet poppy hard-rock crew Lo-Pan are gearing up for the May 17th release of their latest LP, Subtle, via Aqualamb Records (you can pre-order it here), and for their just-announced trek with Southern heavyweights Corrosion of Conformity and Crowbar. Ahead of both, the Ohioan quartet have offered up a new song, "Ten Days," and its gritty music video, a mix of burly onstage performance footage and behind-the-scenes, on-the-road clips. Hectic and black-and-white for most of its run, the visual builds to a sudden burst of color and fresh air at its end.

"'Ten Days' is a song about my ability to thrive just about anywhere with little or no preparation," vocalist Jeff Martin says. "I have always felt that if you can survive 10 days of any uncomfortable situation, you can adapt, and adjust, and persevere. This song is a sort of reminder for me to follow through on my own bluster in that way. I talk a lot of shit. And sometimes I need to force myself to walk it like I talk it."
