Occult rockers returning with new album 'Lucifer IV' later this fall

Lucifer have summoned a new batch of songs. The Stockholm-via-Berlin occult rockers led by Johanna Sadonis have announced that their fourth album, simply titled Lucifer IV, will arrive on October 29th via Century Media. Additionally, the group have shared a hard-rockin' new single called "Bring Me His Head" along with a grisly music video inspired by Stephen King's Carrie.

The song itself sounds akin to the darkened proto-metal vibe that Lucifer have been perfecting for years, which will definitely appeal to fans of Blue Öyster Cult, Ghost, The Sword and, of course, Black Sabbath.

However, it's the accompanying video that really brings the Lucifer experience to another level. Watch the band's modern reimagining of the bloody revenge classic about a misfit teenager above via YouTube.

"Carrie is one of my favorite movies," Sadonis said. "Being an outsider myself my entire life, I've always identified with her. We are very excited that this time we got to work with director Amir Chamdin and photographer Crille Forsberg on our videos. Their body of work is quite breathtaking, if you look it up, so it was a real honor.

"The video to 'Bring Me His Head' is only one part of the story," she added. "But we can't give anything more away at this point."

Lucifer IV is out October 29th via Century Media and pre-orders are live now. See the artwork and track listing below.
