"I'd ask for a circle pit, but I don't know if that's gonna be safe," Machine Head bandleader Robb Flynn said at the start of the band's recent show at Blondies, a tiny dive bar in the U.K. jampacked with diehard "Headcases," the band's affectionate name for their fans. Joined by guitarist Logan Mader and drummer Chris Kontos — both of whom played on the group's seminal 1994 debut Burn My Eyes and rejoined earlier this year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of said album — Flynn and bassist Jared MacEachern were there to film a session for Kerrang!'s "K! Pit" series, which throws bands in small venues with "50 of their closest friends" for intimate and almost always raucous live shows. Today, November 21st, the video of Machine Head's full set dropped, and it does not disappoint. Watch above, including their standout performance of "Davidian" and Flynn's hilarious recollections of writing the song.
