See Marilyn Manson Ride With Norman Reedus in New "Don't Chase the Dead" Video

Directed by frequent Revolver contributor Travis Shinn

Last year, Marilyn Manson appeared as the featured guest on one of the episodes of AMC's Ride With Norman Reedus, hosted, of course, by Walking Dead favorite and motorcycle enthusiast Norman Reedus. Now, the actor has returned the favor by starring in Manson's latest music video, the eerie, noirish clip for the darkly romantic single "Don't Chase the Dead." Directed by frequent Revolver contributor Travis Shinn, the clip captures Manson and Reedus on another kind of ride, a midnight drive in ghostly makeup reminiscent of the 1962 horror classic Carnival of Souls. Watch above.

"I have my version of the story, and Shooter probably has his version of the story, but I wanted the listeners to have their version of the story, as well," Manson recently told Youth Code's Sara Taylor, who interviewed him for Revolver, about his new LP, WE ARE CHAOS, a concept album produced by Shooter Jennings. "So I began it with the intro prose to try to set the tone for what was to come on the record.

"And we made it 10 songs so it would be treated, in the traditional sense, of how an LP works. How there's a Side A and a Side B, because it changes. Just like in a movie or a play, there's three acts. And we were very particular about how we pieced it all together, but it was not difficult. There were no extra songs that we left off."
