TOOL vocalist Maynard James Keenan's drum-solo antics continue. To date, we've seen him pass the time during Danny Carey's spotlight moment by playing Jenga and Operation behind the drum kit — challenging recreations when one of the world's greatest percussionists is literally banging a gong right next to you.
Now, Keenan has stepped up his game, so to speak, by pulling an absolutely epic prank on Carey mid-performance. In a new Instagram clip, posted today (March 19th), the singer is seen surreptitiously replacing the unsuspecting drummer's gong mallet with a massive dildo; Carey unwittingly grabs the phallus and, quickly realizing what he has in his hand, tosses it away — impressively all without missing a beat. Needless to say, Keenan is ecstatic. As for us, we've gotta say it's pretty much the greatest drum cam footage we've ever seen. Take it all in below.
