Chapter IV of the Vic Rattlehead saga

Megadeth released their highly anticipated 16th studio LP, The Sick, The Dying... and the Dead!, last month, and with it, what we thought was the conclusion to a trilogy of videos charting the origin story of the band's mascot Vic Rattlehead. Turns out, Dave Mustaine had something up his sleeve. Today (October 20th), the thrash stalwarts offered up a fourth installment in the cinematic series, for standout cut "Life in Hell." It follows the clips for "We'll Be Back," the Ice-T-assisted "Night Stalkers" and the album's title track.

Like its predecessors, this latest visual features tons of Hollywood-grade battlefield action, drama, bloodshed and Vic Rattlehead making his commanding presence known. Watch it above via YouTube.

Below, see Mustaine talk about how he and his bandmates crafted their first album in six years — and first since Mustaine was diagnosed with and beat cancer — all while the whole "fucking world falls apart."
