Metallica have been busy the past couple of weeks — from the official announcement of their new whiskey, to the unboxing of their forthcoming 30th anniversary box-set edition of ...And Justice for All. Further promoting the latter news, the band has unearthed nearly–30-year-old camcorder-shot footage from a December 10th, 1988, show in San Francisco, California, capturing the band's raucous performance of Justice single "Eye of the Beholder." The clip is the first installment of a nine-week series where, each week, the band will release live footage of each song from the album. For more on ...And Justice for All, read our recently published look back at the album and an appreciation of the record from extreme-music luminary Aaron Turner, of Isis, Old Man Gloom, Sumac and more.
For the next nine weeks, we’re going to celebrate #30YearsOfJustice with a live video of each song from the record. Let’s kick this thing off with “Eye of the Beholder” shot live on a camcorder at the Cow Palace in San Francisco on December 10, 1988. https://t.co/fZgncr6q1A
