A little while back, Metallica announced that their new album would be heading to the big screen — kind of. On April 13th, the day before 'Tallica's 11th LP, 72 Seasons, is released worldwide, the band will be premiering the entire record at various movie theaters all over earth for an event dubbed "72 Seasons — Global Premiere." Today (March 2nd), the band have launched ticket sales for the one-night only event, and they've also dropped a trailer video that gives fans an idea of what they should expect.
As Metallica previously announced, the worldwide listening parties will give fans the opportunity to hear the entirety of 72 Seasons on booming surround sound, while music videos for every song are projected in front of the crowd. In the new trailer, the band reveal that each track will be prefaced by "exclusive intros from the band," and in the previous video Metallica promised special on-screen "surprises" for everyone who attends. Sounds like a good time.
