See Ministry Play "Thieves" With Original Tool Bassist at Hellfest Meets Knotfest

Paul D'Amour touring with Al Jourgensen and Co. in Europe

Last month, we broke the news that former Tool bassist Paul D'Amour — you know, the dude who played on Opiate and Undertow — had joined industrial-metal pioneers Ministry. According to Al Jourgensen, the two first met at Lollapalooza in 1992, where he mistakenly dosed both D'Amour and Tool singer Maynard James Keenan with LSD after Ministry's performance, which they had been watching side stage. The bass player and the industrial godfather shared the stage again today (Thursday, June 20) at Hellfest Meets Knotfest in France, and things took a slightly less psychedelic direction this time around. Ministry's set with D'Amour included The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste standout "Thieves," and fan-shot footage of that performance has popped up online. Watch above.
