Last time on heavy metal-inspired "talk show" Two Minutes to Late Night, Royal Thunder frontwoman Mlny Parsonz teamed up with host GWARsenio Hall and house band Mutoid Man (Cave In's Stephen Brodsky, Converge's Ben Koller and bassist Nick Cageao) for a ferocious, stoner-metal reinterpretation of Miley Cyrus' 2013 smash "Wrecking Ball," one of three off-the-wall covers filmed during a recent jam session at Brooklyn's St. Vitus.
Now, the mad scientists have revealed their second nightmarish crossover, and boy, is this one a doozy. We'll let the show's producers provide the context: "Kesha has a song called Bastards, Motörhead has a whole album called Bastards, [and] GWARsenio Hall is Lemmy's Bastard," the video's description states, "so we teamed up with Mel from Royal Thunder to make the cover you never knew you needed!" Somewhere in heaven — in the celestial equivalent of the Rainbow Bar and Grill — Mr. Kilmister is surely smiling. Watch above, and stay tuned for part three.
Here's the original version of "Bastards," off Kesha's latest album Rainbow, for comparison's sake:
