Current Scorpions drummer takes to the sky for Volvo

Former Motörhead and current Scorpions drummer Mikkey Dee has played some of the biggest stages in the world and some of the wildest shows in history. But even he's never performed in a scenario like this one: suspended by a crane in Ullevi Stadium in the musician's hometown of Gothenburg.

The high-flying stunt was arranged by car manufacturer Volvo, who recently enlisted Dee for a series of commercials promoting the Swedish company's new line of electric trucks.

"The Volvo electric trucks are just as flexible as their diesel equivalents and can be built for virtually any task," the description to the video reads. "And the absence of noise and emissions makes them perfect for nighttime assignments — like the possibly highest-ever drum solo in the history of heavy metal." Watch above.
