See Mr. Bungle's Wild "Bungle Grind" Performance From 'The Night They Came Home'

Halloween streaming special coming to DVD, VHS and more

In addition to releasing one of 2020's best albums, the thrashy throwback The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo, Mr. Bungle also made a mark last year with their Halloween streaming special, "The Night They Came Home." Interspersed with behind-the-scenes footage, surprise cameos (most notably, Henry Rollins) and a few fun covers, the virtual concert stood out among the crowded pack of streaming music events. In fact, it was so good that the band announced today (April 21st) their plans to release the nearly two-hour production as a live album and concert film.

"The Night They Came Home" will be available on CD + Blu-Ray, CD + DVD, VHS and digitally on June 11th via Ipecac Recordings. The CD portion features remastered audio, while the film features Bungle's performance, Neil Hamburger's opening set, three official music videos ("Raping Your Mind," "Eracist" and "Sudden Death"), as well as extended behind-the-scenes footage. The VHS release, limited to 1000 collectible copies, is an edited, performance-only portion of the film. All formats are available for pre-order now. You can get the CD + Blu-Ray edition via our shop.
