See Mudvayne Play "Dig," "Not Falling" and More at Reunion Kickoff

Alt-metal mutants ripped through 'L.D. 50'-heavy set at Inkcarceration fest

After years of fans clamoring for it, Mudvayne finally broke their hiatus and played their first show in more than a decade. The shape-shifting alt-metal group — vocalist Chad Gray, guitarist Greg Tribbett, bassist Ryan Martinie and drummer Matthew McDonough — took the stage at Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival in Mansfield, Ohio, last night (September 11th), and ripped through a 14-song set that we wish we were there to see.

Fortunately, there's plenty of high-quality fan-shot footage of the whole evening. The band burst on stage with the titanic "Not Falling" from their 2002 sophomore album, The End of All Things to Come. As you can see in the video below via YouTube, the band gave OG fans what they wanted be donning the freaky make-up and wacky outfits that added to their notoriety when they came onto the scene with 2000's L.D. 50.

Speaking of their debut album, the band played a whopping six tracks from it last night, including an uproarious rendition of "Internal Primates Forever" that you can watch above. And of course, they closed the whole night out with the "br br deng" anthem itself: "Dig," which set the whole room on fire. Check it out after the jump.

According to setlist.fm, the band also played the L.D. 50 deep cut "Prod" for the first time since 2008, and they performed the song "A Cinderella Story" from 2008's The New Game for the first time ever. The rest of the set list was filled out by the usual suspects ("Happy?", "Determined," "Death Blooms," etc.). See the full setlist below.

Next up for Mudvayne are performances at Louder Than Life (September 23rd-26th in Louisville, Kentucky), Aftershock (October 07th-10th in Sacramento, California) and Welcome to Rockville (November 11th-14th in Daytona Beach, Florida).
