See Mudvayne Play 'L.D. 50' Song in New Rehearsal Video

Alt-metal freaks practicing for upcoming reunion shows

One of the metal milestones that we're most excited for this year is Mudvayne's block of reunion shows, and it seems like the band are equally pumped. Last month, the alt-metal freaks posted some awesome photos of what appeared to be their first rehearsal together in over a decade, and today (July 26th) they're back with a video.

In a minute-long visual captioned, "{-1}:46:16:35:40," on social media, the band — vocalist Chad Gray, guitarist Greg Tribbett, bassist Ryan Martinie and drummer Matthew McDonough — are seen rocking out in their practice space while looking as tough and focused as ever.

There isn't any actual audio from the rehearsal itself, but the song playing in the video is the ferocious  "-1," a deep-cut from their beloved 2000 debut, L.D. 50. The song mostly syncs up with what the band are playing in the accompanying visual, so fans can expect to hear that one — and likely others from that record — at their upcoming festival appearances.

Check it out above via YouTube.

Later this year, Mudvayne will perform at Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival (September 10th-12th in Mansfield, Ohio), Louder Than Life (September 23rd-26th in Louisville, Kentucky), Aftershock (October 07th-10th in Sacramento, California) and Welcome to Rockville (November 11th-14th in Daytona Beach, Florida).
