See Mudvayne's Chad Gray Fall Offstage While Singing "Not Falling"

A textbook definition of irony

This is what we call a textbook definition of irony. During Mudvayne's July 26th performance in Tampa, frontman Chad Gray took an accidental tumble off the stage while he was in the middle of singing the song "Not Falling."

As you can see in fan-filmed video of the incident, Gray was up there belting through the 2002 standout from Mudvayne's second album, The End of All Things to Come, when he took a fateful step forward at the front of the stage and suddenly dropped down in front of the crowd and out of the camera's view.

Amazingly, after taking a few second to collect himself, he leaped back up and continued to sing the song as if nothing had happened — and the crowd roared enthusiastically, as they should have. As funny as it is to watch Gray fall while singing a song about doing the opposite, we're glad to see he made it out unscathed and was able to muscle through like a true champion.
