Mutoid Man return! The punky heavy-metal band consisting of Cave In's Stephen Brodsky, Converge's Ben Koller and High on Fire's Jeff Matz have announced their long-awaited new album, Mutants.

It's the trio's first LP since 2017's War Moans, and their first with Matz on bass, who replaced original four-stringer Nick Cageao in 2021. The record is out later this summer, but Mutoid Man are previewing it today with a ripping new song titled "Call of the Void."

Fast, pummeling, shreddy and catchy as all hell, "Call of the Void" hits all of the notes that Mutoid Man do best, and it arrives with an accompanying music video directed by Two Minutes to Late Night and starring Jordan Olds, a.k.a. Gwarsenio Hall (without any makeup on).
