The Prince of Fucking Darkness celebrated New Year's with a host of famous friends and frenzied fans at a special Ozzfest extravaganza at The Forum in L.A. A lineup featuring what Ozzy Osbourne has described as "all-stars of Ozzfest" — Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Jonathan Davis, Ice-T's metal band Body Count and more — opened the show, while Ozzy himself was onstage to usher out 2018 and ring in 2019. He did with a chant-along countdown to the New Year culminating in an explosion of pyro and confetti, plus a ripping rendition of Blizzard of Ozz opener "I Don't Know."
"I got to time it, because when you rehearse, you know, I'll play through songs," Ozzy said of the countdown in advance of the show. "But then when you go onstage, you start to just go with it. We've got to time it so we can stop for the countdown." And time it they did — see the celebratory footage above.
