See Pantera Soundcheck "Cowboys From Hell" Before First Show in 20 Years

Footage of Anselmo, Brown, Benante and Wylde taking the stage

It's happening. It's really happening. Pantera are in Mexico City right now gearing up for their first show in over 21 years, which is set to go down tonight (December 2nd) at Hell & Heaven Metal Fest. It's the groove-metal band's first show with their new lineup — core members Philip Anselmo and Rex Brown joined by longtime friends Charlie Benante (Anthrax) and Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society) — and hours before they're set to play, fans had already flocked to their soundcheck to hear what they're in for later this evening.

Above, check out footage of Pantera ripping through their 1990 classic "Cowboys From Hell." The video quality isn't great, and the fans were far away from the stage, but it's fucking Pantera soundchecking — in 2022!
