See Phil Anselmo Dedicate Intense Cover of Pantera's "Slaughtered" to Vinnie Paul

Singer debuted performance during his current tour with Scour

Last night (July 5th) Phil Anselmo dedicated a cover of Pantera's classic song "Slaughtered," from 1994's Far Beyond Driven, to the late Vinnie Paul during Scour's concert at the Baltimore Soundstage in Maryland.

Much like the video statement he provided during Paul's memorial service last weekend, the singer kept the message short and sweet: "This is one for Vince" — and instead let the impassioned cover do the talking.

Scour is Anselmo's heavy-metal supergroup comprising John Jarvis (Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nosebleed), Derek Engemann (Cattle Decapitation), Chase Fraser (Animosity, Decrepit Birth) and Adam Jarvis (Pig Destroyer, Misery Index). The group are touring in support of their second extended player, Red, which was released on November 3rd via Anselmo's Housecore records.
