See Philip H. Anselmo & the Illegals Play Full Set of Pantera Songs in L.A.

Singer's solo band crushed The Viper Room with "Use My Third Arm," "Becoming," "A New Level," more

Philip H. Anselmo & the Illegals, the extreme-metal solo project of former Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo, have been treating fans attending their current U.S. tour to a mini-set of Pantera classic, including "Walk," "Mouth for War," "I'm Broken," "Becoming," "Hellbound" and more. Last night (November 16th), the band took shit to a new level — so to speak — by playing a full set of Pantera songs at The Viper Room in West Hollywood, California.

Anselmo hyped the set with a post to the Illegals' Facebook page: "We are in Hollywood, California tonight," he wrote. "Start to finish. Full PANTERA set!!! Come see it at The Viper room tonight! Gonna be historically epic on many levels! We'll see ya there."

And historic it was. "Let's make this clear: I'm doing this set in honor of Vince and Dime," Anselmo said at the onset, referring to his late Pantera bandmates Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell. See fan-shot footage of the performance above, and below, you can check out the livestream of the full set, which ran on the Illegals' page, as well as the set list, as reported on setlist.fm.
