See Primus Play 'South Park' Theme With Trey Parker and Matt Stone at 25th Anniversary Concert

"Come on down to South Park and meet some friends of mine"

On August 9th, at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, Comedy Central's South Park celebrated its 25th anniversary with a fittingly rowdy concert helmed by alt-rock weirdos Ween (who appeared in the season two episode "Chef Aid") and funk-metal troublemakers Primus, the latter of whom famously wrote and recorded the inescapable theme song to the show.

It was only natural then that Les Claypool and Co. should play said theme, and they did so joined by none other than South Park co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Together, they also relayed the funny behind-the-scenes story of the madcap tune and its evolving incarnations. Watch above.
