Queens of the Stone Age's Troy Van Leeuwen was up there, too

Last month (April 17th), Primus recruited TOOL drummer Danny Carey and bassist Justin Chancellor for a special benefit show honoring Canadian filmmaker Jimmy Hayward, who's currently battling cancer.

Also joined onstage Queens of the Stone Age's Troy Van Leeuwen, the supergroup played a hit-filled show at Los Angeles' Belasco venue, but the highlight of the night was when they busted out a fantastic rendition of TOOL's "Ænema."

We already shared smartphone camera recordings of the special performance, but it turns out that Primus had their own professional camera people recording the cover, and today (May 2nd), Les Claypool and Co. have shared pro-shot footage of the "Ænema" performance.

The official video allows you to see and hear every detail of the impressive rendition, and you can watch it above now via YouTube.
