Reunited NWOAHM vets share "Chains of Humanity" performance

Back in September, New Jersey-bred New Wave of American Heavy Metal outfit God Forbid played their first show in nine long years, at Blue Ridge Rock Festival in Alton, Virginia. The rain-soaked comeback performance saw core members Byron Davis (vocals), Doc Coyle (guitar, vocals), John "Beeker" Outcalt (bass) and Corey Pierce (drums) joined by former As I Lay Dying guitarist Nick Hipa, playing in the place of the group's previous rhythm guitarists, Dallas Coyle and Matt Wicklund, who are not participating in the reunion.

To close out the year, God Forbid have shared official, professionally filmed footage from the show, specifically, their performance of IV: Constitution of Treason standout "Chains of Humanity." Watch above.

God Forbid are set to keep the reunion going in 2023, playing dates early in the year with Bleeding Through, including January 6th at Sayreville, New Jersey's Starland Ballroom and January 7th at Worcester, Massachusetts' Palladium. Then, this coming fall, God Forbid will join many of their NWOAHM peers on the high seas as part of Lamb of God's first-ever Headbangers Boat cruise.
