See Pro Video of Metallica Playing "Blitzkrieg" at Zazula Tribute Show

Part of epic, early '80s throwback set

Last Sunday (November 6th), Metallica played an intimate, throwback show boasting a setlist comprised exclusively of songs off their first two albums, 1983's Kill 'Em All and 1984's Ride the Lightning, plus two covers. Earlier this week, the thrash OGs shared pro-shot video of their performance of "Phantom Lord." Today (November 12th), they've offered up the same for one of the covers they played, Blitzkrieg's "Blitzkrieg." Watch above.

The show — which went down at the 7,000-capacity Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida — was a celebration of the life and legacy of Megaforce Records founder Jon "Jonny Z" Zazula and his wife, Marsha, who died in 2022 and 2021, respectively. Megaforce launched Metallica's career by releasing Kill 'Em All and Ride the Lightning before they signed to major label Elektra.
