Lei Li offers hypnotic images of aquatic life

Throughout January and February, Puscifer — the theatrical art-rock troupe helmed by Maynard James Keenan — have been releasing six different music videos for "A Singularity (Re-Imagined by Carina Round)," created by band members, friends and family. Lei Li Keenan, Maynard's eight-year-old daughter, was responsibly for the latest and last visual, a soothing vision of aquatic life that premiered today (February 16th). Watch above.

The first video in the series was shot and edited by Maynard himself, and serves as a memoriam to the singer's beloved Yorkie, MiHo, who passed in 2021. The intervening clips were helmed by Keenan's A Perfect Circle bandmate Billy Howerdel, video director Odin Wadleigh, actor Yul Vásquez and visual artist Alisa Akay.

Of her video, Lei Li commented, "It's hard to hear this song without feeling sad about losing Miho. Maybe this beautiful video of the stuff we took at the aquarium will help us feel better about her being gone." Maynard added: "I helped my daughter, Lei Li, edit this clip in iMovie. Not bad for an 8-year-old."

"A Singularity (Re-Imagined by Carina Round)" is featured on Puscifer's upcoming Existential Reckoning: Re-Wired album, which is due out on March 31th via Puscifer Entertainment/Alchemy Recordings/BMG. In addition to Round's contribution, the album includes remixes by Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, TOOL's Justin Chancellor and Queens of the Stone Age's Troy Van Leeuwen, among others.
