Last Saturday, May 20th, Rammstein played their first show of 2023 — an exclusive, fan-club-only dress-rehearsal performance at Vingio Parkas in Vilnius, Lithuania, that test-drove what appeared to be the 21-song, rarities-packed setlist of their impending tour. As it turns out, though, the German industrial-metal firestarters still had one trick left up their sleeves.
Two days later, at the same venue, Rammstein kicked off said tour and played not 21 but 22 songs, adding to their setlist the live debut of "Angst," one of the stomping singles off their latest album, Zeit. Fortunately, fans had their phones out to capture the momentous performance — watch a badass multi-cam cut, courtesy of the @saintcalc YouTube channel, above.
In addition to the live debut of "Angst," the show also included the first public, non-fan-club-only performances of "Rammlied" since 2011, "Bestrafe Mich" since 2001, and "Giftig" ever. Check out the full setlist, via setlist.fm, below.
