See Rapper Vic Mensa, Travis Barker Join Fever333 in New "Made an America" Video

Hip-hop artist and drummer take guest spots in remix of title-track from hardcore punk/rap group’s debut record

Confrontational punk/rap fusion supergroup The Fever 333 have released a video for a new remix of "Made An America," their aggressive track for which they previously rolled out a striking video that vocalist Jason Aalon Butler has stated confronts America's "problematic history" of racism.

For the remix they've recruited the help of Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, and Chicago rapper Vic Mensa.

A frequent collaborator of the group's, Barker has also appeared at live shows and has an uncredited guest spot on the track "Hunting Season." Barker's impeccable drumming skills complement the group's punk style, laying down a solid beat to sit under the Mensa and Butler's visceral raps about racism, gun violence, and the multitude of problems facing American society.

On the track, vocalist Jason Aalon Butler says:

"This project started as an effort to affect change. Change in our communities as well as the industry and art which we operate within. Opening the floor to like minds and artists. Subversion is in the project's DNA. So is hip hop. So is punk. So is ART. Which is why we are so proud to announce the visual component to the 'Made an America' remix, featuring Travis Barker and Vic Mensa. Two artists tastefully combining the essence of rock and hip hop music; two realms that were created to challenge convention which is what we intend on doing in honour of these cultures."

The Fever 333 will join Bring Me The Horizon for a November tour of the U.K. and Europe after they finish their current American run, with only two performances remaining at different locations on the Monster Energy Festival circuit.
