See Rob Halford Sing "Jolene" With Dolly Parton at Rock Hall Ceremony

Judas Priest icon joined all-star closing performance

Last night (November 5th) was a huge night for Judas Priest and Rob Halford. The NWOBHM icons were finally inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and they played the induction ceremony, reuniting with former guitarist K.K. Downing and drummer Les Binks for the occasion.

But that's not all. Priest singer Rob Halford later joined country legend Dolly Parton as part of a climactic, all-star performance of her classic song "Jolene." The "super jam" performance also featured P!nk (who inducted Dolly into the Hall of Fame), Brandi Carlile, Simon Lebon of Duran Duran, Sheryl Crow, Annie Lennox of Eurythmics, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo.

In lead up to the ceremony, Halford had gushed about Parton and his desire to get a photo with her at the Rock Hall induction. "I'm going to force her to, even if she doesn't know who I am," he told Metal Crypt in June. "I'm going to see what table she is sitting at. I'm just going to run to the table and do the devil's horns thing. Tongue out, horns up, behind Dolly Parton's head. It's the only way to do it. I can't smile sweetly. I've got to stick my tongue out and my horns up."
