Singer talks meaning of 'The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy' title, more in episode one of new series

On March 12th, king freak and "monster metal" icon Rob Zombie will drop his seventh solo LP and first in five years, The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy. The album features 17 tracks of tripped-out horror-fueled boogie metal cooked up in Zombie's mad-scientist laboratory with longtime bandmates John 5 (guitar), Piggy D. (bass) and Ginger Fish (drums).

To celebrate the album's release, Zombie and his wife, Sheri Moon, have prepared a series of short animated videos, titled Zombie Interviews Zombie, discussing the record's themes. Today (February 24th), they launched episode one, in which Zombie reveals the meaning behind his latest record's far-fucking-out title.

"You have the ability to put a bunch of words together, and turn the titles into real thinkers," says Sheri Moon, with a laugh.

To which Rob responds, "As random as it all may seem — I spent a lot of time trying to figure it out!"

Watch the fun clip above to find out what that process looked like for Zombie.
