See Seether Cover Flyleaf's "I'm So Sick" With Lacey Sturm

Former Flyleaf singer made surprise cameo in Pennsylvania

On Saturday (April 30th), Seether played The Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania, with Breaking Benjamin and Starset, and Shaun Morgan and Co. made their set extra special by bringing out a surprise guest: ex-Flyleaf vocalist Lacey Sturm. The singer, who split with her former band in 2012, joined Seether for a powerhouse performance of Flyleaf's signature song and debut single, the 2006 nu-metal anthem "I'm So Sick." "We've known this person for a very long time," Morgan intro'd Sturm's cameo. "She's one of my favorite singers of all time. So we said, 'Hey, let's do this one song that you used to do.' And she's gonna play it with us tonight. I may screw it up, 'cause it's always on me if something goes wrong. But please make some noise for Lacey Sturm."

Since leaving Flyleaf, Sturm has been busy with her solo career, offering up her first album under her name, Life Screams, in 2016. In December, she released the official music video for her latest single, "Awaken Love."
