Last night (June 7th), Slipknot played their first show in 944 days — according to drummer Jay Weinberg's count, at least — with an insane headlining performance at Rockfest in Hyvinkää, Finland. Complete with their new masks, their mystery second percussionist and their new stage production, the Nine blasted through a thrilling career-spanning, 18-song set including their latest singles, "All Out Life" and "Unsainted," as well as fan favorites like "(sic)" and "People = Shit." Slipknot's European run is scheduled to continue through July 5th's Resurrection Fest in Spain, after which the band will hit FEQ in Quebec City, Canada, before returning to the States to lead the inaugural Knotfest Roadshow, which launches July 26th and features Volbeat, Gojira and Behemoth playing in support. Shortly after that kickoff date, on August 9th, the Nine are set to drop their beyond-highly anticipated sixth album, We Are Not Your Kind.
