In 2005, Roadrunner Records celebrated their 25th anniversary with an ambitious project called Roadrunner United. The project included an album called The All-Star Sessions featuring 18 original songs recorded by 57 artists from past and then-present Roadrunner bands, including members of Slipknot, Anthrax, Trivium, Machine Head, Fear Factory, Sepultura and more. There was also an epic show at New York City's Nokia Theater that featured many of the aforementioned all stars playing a mix of Roadrunner classics and All-Star Sessions originals. Now, Roadrunner have unlocked their vaults and are set to unleash that live album, aptly titled Roadrunner United: The Concert (Live at the Nokia Theatre, New York, NY, 12/15/2005), on vinyl and CD later this year.

Today (January 13th), a new standout video clip from that night has hit the internet, this one finds Slipknot's Corey Taylor and Paul Gray, both unmasked, joining members of Annihilator, Chimaira and Still Remains in playing "The Rich Man," an All-Star Sessions original penned by Machine Head's Robb Flynn. Watch above.

The 25-song Roadrunner United concert boasted 39 musicians, representing 25 different Roadrunner bands, performing 25 songs from 19 different bands' repertoires. It was a helluva show, and it's all being pressed on 3LP colored vinyl and two-disc CD — available physically for the first time ever.

Both the original All-Star Sessions album and the concert performance itself will be widely released on March 10th, and Revolver has teamed with Roadrunner United to commemorate the releases with exclusive, limited-edition merch — available now in our shop, along with pressings of the albums on vinyl and CD.
