See Slipknot's Corey Taylor Deliver Intimate "Snuff" Solo Acoustic Performance

Pro-shot footage taken at Las Vegas' Fremont County Club also features flame-wielding performance troupe Cherry Bombs

"Snuff" may be one of Slipknot's more relaxed tracks, but Corey Taylor has woven that intimate, acoustic vibe with a flame-filled, exciting clip from performance troupe Cherry Bombs, led by Taylor's girlfriend Alicia Dove.

The pro-shot footage, taken from a recent appearance as Las Vegas rock bar The Fremont Country Club, stitches together images of the singer delivering a heartfelt and emotional rendition of the track as the dancers can be seen performing daredevil stunts in the background: fire eaters and acrobatic cage dancers are featured in slow motion as Taylor's voice and guitar grow in energy and passion, adding drama to the would-be very metal scene to highlight the practiced beauty and incredible strength needed to perform the feats at hand.

Taylor, who's recently shown interest in branching out from his mainstay projects, is set to release a new album with Slipknot later this year. Between the group's surprise Halloween drop of "All Out Life" and the announcement that Knotfest is hitting yet another country with the upcoming Hellfest collaboration in France, one thing's for sure: 2019 is shaping up to be the year of the 'Knot.
