Slipknot are teasing fans once again, this time with a tantalizing 17-second clip in which vocalist Corey Taylor can be heard singing "Today, up on this hill, I'm counting all the killers ...," posted with a caption that says the same along with the hashtag #wearenotyourkind, a.k.a. the title of their upcoming album. While no explicit information has been released as to whether the payoff will be a song, video or something else entirely, a brief flash shows the band's logo along with the word "Monday," meaning we're just a few short days away from finding out just what lies in store.

The blood-splattered visuals and eerie atmosphere of the clip suggests something horrifying and cinematic, and very much in line with this album cycle's visual aesthetic thus far.

The 'Knot are just one week out from the July 26th kickoff of the North American leg of their Knotfest Roadshow tour in Mountain View, California, which they recently revealed will include a mobile museum of various memorabilia for certain special ticket buyers. Find out more on that here, and keep your eyes peeled for Monday's news from The Nine.
