Iowa nine give behind-the-scenes peek into recent European run in new mini-doc

2019 is shaping up to be a big year for Slipknot as the buzz surrounding the release of their sixth full-length, We Are Not Your Kind, continues to grow ahead of its August 9th street date. The Iowa band just recently wrapped their run of European shows, and today (July 12th) Corey Taylor and Co. have released a short, stylized recap video that captures them behind-the-scenes as they pump up to go out and deliver their new "extravagant" live set.

A particularly intimate moment comes when the camera captures the band huddled up before a gig while Taylor recites a short speech about the "manic day" they're having and they all pile in for a unified cheer at the end. Taylor carries that positive energy out onto the stage and delivers a similarly moving talk to the crowd, saying, "I want you to take a look around and I want you to realize that this is a family."

Directing his hands around the room and back toward his own chest, the masked frontman continues, "You understand what I mean? We are all a fucking family here tonight, and no matter what, no one – NO ONE – can tear this fucking family apart. That means us, that means you, that means all around the fucking world."
