See Slipknot's Sid Wilson Get Dissected by Aliens in New Video for Solo Rap Song

Rapper/DJ drops visual for "The Love Inside" from debut solo album 'Sexcapades of the Hopeless Robotic'

Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson recently dropped his debut solo rap album ∑x©∆p∆D∑∫ øƒ †h3 høP∑£3∫∫ ®øbø†¡¢ (Sexcapades of the Hopeless Robotic) this past month, and has been releasing some out-there visuals to accompany the album's trippy music. The newest video is for "†h∑ £ø√∑ ¡N∫¡D∑," a seven-minute space odyssey that blasts past what he's done in previous videos.

Sid pilots a spacecraft in the video that goes hurling through the galaxy, until he's eventually intercepted by aliens. He begins to hallucinate further, and becomes a robotically modified figure when he awakes. The song kicks in, and it's a change up from his previous single "The Cure," this time presenting a pretty laidback beat while he raps over it, raising similarities to artists like Deltron 30 30 or People Under the Stairs. In between his rapping, Wilson incorporates some straight singing, keeping his lyrical content fixed on double entendres around space and the like.

Wilson describes the video in his own words, "Our hero now finds himself hurling thru the Universe in a spacecraft constructed from studio equipment and Earth vehicles. Finally starting to feel like he has found peace amongst the stars, he's cruising the Galaxies in his beat making vessel pulling inspiration from the unknown and decides to try the inter dimensional drive and forgetting to calculate the proper mineral balance injections for his body to withstand the jump, he blacks out. Upon waking, he will truly discover '†h∑ £ø√∑ ¡N∫¡D∑'."
