See SNL's Fun 1991 "Kiddie Metal" Skit Starring Adam Sandler, Kiefer Sutherland

Sandler as Axl, Sutherland as Slash, Sebastian Bach as Sebastian Bach serenade young boy at bedtime

"So you can read your book or you can listen to your new tape," says the mom in Saturday Night Live's 1991 skit "Kiddie Metal" to her son before bedtime. The grade school metalhead opts for his new tape — and a good decision, too, considering that it's an album of metalized children's songs performed by none other than Guns N' Roses' Axl Rose and Slash, played by Adam Sandler and Keifer Sutherland, respectively. In the skit — a mock infomercial for said LP, Kiddie Metal — the two rockers tear into our young hero's room through a cloud of stage smoke and serenade him with headbanging renditions of "Jimmy Crack Corn" and "Old MacDonald." The whole thing culminates in the appearance of the very real Sebastian Bach and Rachel Boland of Skid Row, the former joining Sander's Axl in a "dueling" high-pitched duet on the ABC song. Watch above.
