See SOULFLY play fiery "Bleed" with LIMP BIZKIT's Fred Durst at Ozzfest '98

With an assist from Richie Cavalera

In addition to Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth and Motörhead, the 1998 edition of Ozzfest featured a very of-the-era lineup including TOOL, System of a Down, Coal Chamber, Sevendust, Incubus, Snot, Soulfly and Limp Bizkit. Being on the same bill together, Max Cavalera's band and Bizkit's Fred Durst had to team up onstage to perform their joint song "Bleed," off Soulfly's self-titled debut, which had dropped earlier that year. Indeed, they did so many times that summer, including on July 7th at the Great Woods Amphitheater in Mansfield, Massachusetts.

That performance also included an assist from Max's son Richie, who has since gone onto lead his own metal band, Incite, but back in '98, he was just a fresh-faced little kid helping out dad at "the office." Everyone was clearly having a blast, with Durst and Richie delivering the Bizkit frontman's rap part in unison and ending the song headbanging together with arms around each others' shoulders.
