See TOOL cover "No Quarter" dressed up as LED ZEPPELIN for Halloween

2015 Monster Mash set marked first performance of cover in 17 years

TOOL have played their cover of Led Zeppelin's "No Quarter" — which appears on the 2000 rarities compilation album, Salival — 42 times live onstage, according to setlist.fm, but arguably the most memorable occasion was on Halloween night in 2015 at the Monster Mash Music Festival in Tempe, Arizona.

To celebrate All Hallow's Eve, TOOL opened their set with a surprise performance of the Houses of the Holy classic — dressed as Led Zeppelin! There were hippie-hair wigs, flowy shirts with flowery prints, motherfucking bell bottoms. "Good news, it's fucking Halloween! Bad news, we are not Led Zeppelin," singer Maynard James Keenan quipped after the song.

Adding to the noteworthiness of the cover, the 2015 performance marked the first time TOOL had played "No Quarter" in 17 long years. The band would reintroduce the song to their setlist throughout 2016, but haven't brought it out since. Watch fan-shot footage above and below.
