All-star collective Pigface spent the latter half of November throwing what can only be described as full-on industrial parties that included dancing, mic-swapping, extended jams and sing-alongs, and a set list that hit every mark in their catalog and even the songs of some current members' main projects. The November 29th show in Minneapolis received an extra special addition to the crew when Tool drummer Danny Carey sat in next to legendary percussionist and Pigface originator Martin Atkins.
The footage above shows the wild stage setup, including elevated platforms where Atkins and Carey bashed away behind their kits and guest vocalist Randy Blythe of Lamb of God taking on percussion duties of his own throughout the two-plus hour performance. Instruments were swapped, checkered flags were flown, and the entire gang seems to be having the time of their life while the equally enthused crowd rages with them.
Filmed at the Minneapolis venue The Cabooze, that evening Pigface featured the aforementioned Randy Blythe, Danny Carey and Martin Atkins, as well as Mary Byker from Pop Will Eat Itself and Gaye Bykers on Acid, Curse Mackey, En Esch of KMFDM, Lesley Rankine of Silverfish, Dirk Flanigan of 77 Luscious Babes, Charles Levi from My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, Bobdog Caitlin of Evil Mothers, and Bradley Bills.
While no official set list has been posted on setlist.fm yet, see below for a sample look at what the group pulled out at the night after this (November 30th) at their Thalia Bar performance in Chicago.
